A Nurse average salary in India starts from 28,400 INR per month. There is difference in salaries between nurse work in Government Sector and Private Sector. In government hospital or sector, the nurse earns approximately 38,200 INR per month; whereas a nurse who works in private sector earns close to 23,450 INR per month. Nurse salary is determined by the following categories – sector, location, grade and experience.

Railway Nurse Salary

In Railways Department there are more openings for nurses in railways divisional hospital and in production dispensaries.
